Porto's Waris on way to France, Benfica's Lisandro likely to follow
Majeed Waris, who has only recently signed permanently for Porto, will join Nantes, with Benfica's experienced centreback Lisandro Lopez likely to follow.
Waris will arrive at the French club on loan, with an option in place to then make the move permanent.
Nantes, who are managed by Portuguese coach Miguel Cardoso, are also hopeful of bringing in Benfica centreback Lisandro, who has been capped 4 times by Argentina and is guaranteed to be leaving Benfica this summer.
Nantes finished 9th last season under the stewardship of ex-Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri.
