Waldschmidt moves to Benfica for 15 million euros
Benfica have completed the signing of German striker Luca Waldschmidt.
The 24-year old arrives from Bundesliga outfit Freiburg, signing for a fee of 15 million euros, and is protected by a release clause of 88 million euros.
The German has signed a contract that is valid until 2025, with Freiburg entitled to 7.5% of any potential future sale fee.
Waldschmidt scored 7 goals for Freiburg in the league last season, assisting a further three goals.
