Recently promoted Santa Clara recruit World Cup 2018 international
Primeira Liga newcomers Santa Clara have completed the signing of Panamanian striker Abdiel Arroyo.
Arroyo, who has played 34 times for his country, joins from Costa Rican outfit Ajaluense on a season-long loan.
The 24-year old forward will join his compatriot Alfredo Stephens at the club, who has also played for Panama - 10 times - but did not go to the World Cup last month.
Arroyo returns to Europe for the second time in his career, having played for Croatian side RNK Split 14 times in 2016.
